About us
Southall is the evolution of traditional Southern hospitality, an authentic working farm with an inn, restaurant, and spa just outside of Nashville on over 325 acres of lush and rolling hills. This is a place of gathering, connection, and nature, where guests are nurtured and nourished, inspired by innovation and education. Each department went all out, showcasing their unique flair and embodying the Southall spirit! 🎃 The competition was fierce, with awards for Southall Spirit, Overall Pumpkin, Most Creative, and Spookiest Pumpkin. It was incredible to see everyone come together, sharing laughs and a bit of friendly rivalry! Southall is proud to partner with local artist, Frazer Buntin! Frazer has created several one-of-a-kind sculptures currently featured in Emma’s boutique and within the halls of Southall. Each piece originates from stone that came from the creek that runs through Southall Farm & Inn. The artist uses an electric dremel with a series of diamond-tipped burrs to manipulate the stone, creating a natural and modern perspective. Frazer’s pieces explore themes of nature, the five senses, and self-reflection, and connect perfectly with Southall’s philosophy of sustainability. Frazer studied geology and forestry at The University of the South at Sewanee. The artist believes sourcing the material for his art is part of the experience and the enjoyment of creation. Frazer’s canvas pieces and sculptures have sold extensively across the United States, and one of Frazer’s sculptures was recently featured in the Southern Living 2023 Idea House. We are honored to collaborate with an artist who creates pieces for those who feel a deep connection to nature and who appreciate the beauty of our mission.
