Our chapter's Young Engineer of the Year is Bailey Keller, PE! Bailey is a project manager in Freese and Nichols' Water and Wastewater Master Planning group. She has served the Southeast Chapter as Membership Chair and currently as the Young Professionals Co-Chair. An active member, Bailey also has volunteer on the Texas Water Planning Committee and the AWWA/WEF YP Summit Programming Committee. Thank you Bailey for all your diligent work!
Our Southeast TAWWA Engineer of the Year is Jay Patel., P.E.! Jay is a Supervising Engineer for the City of Houston and oversees a diverse spectrum of water-related projects, which have received multiple recognitions and awards from the engineering community. He also actively serves as a member of the TAWWA Executive Committee. An avid traveler, he also devotes his time to volunteering with non-profits to design and construct projects with them.
