Dr. Clayton Charles is a board-certified internal medicine physician and is bringing over 10 years of hospitalist experience to the Archbold program. He completed his residency in Brooklyn, NY at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Charles will be moving from Charlotte, NC with his wife and children and begin in early October.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Kelly to our Archbold Hospitalist team! Dr. Michael Kelly is joining us from Pennsylvania where he is completing his Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Kelly will be moving to the area due to numerous family ties and his fiancée will be pursuing a master's degree in music therapy at Florida State University. He will begin with our Hospitalist program in early July.

Improving ED efficiency, care quality, and outcomes requires an ongoing effort that evolves along with the ED environment from proper management of processes to having the right staff to make things run smoothly. Dr. Lesa Beach, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a newly earned Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Valdosta State University. With over a decade of experience in patient care, Dr. Beach is passionate about providing evidence-based care and is renowned for her compassionate approach and clinical expertise in mental health. Committed to advancing healthcare through evidence-based practices and innovative patient care strategies, she also mentors nursing students and leads in the healthcare community. Employed with SouthlandMD since August 2015, Dr. Beach continues to advocate for high standards in nursing practice and patient outcomes while enjoying her role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

One of our own physicians, Dr. Tiffany Delice, was recognized as an Outstanding Preceptor of the Year Award recipient for 2023-2024 in the Psychiatry category. A medical preceptor is an experienced practitioner who supervises students during clinical practice. Preceptors are an essential part of medical students' clinical education and training.
