SEC team members volunteered their Monday morning to prepare the Meherrin Volunteer Fire Department’s Independence Day fireworks show! The fireworks are set to kick off at 9:30PM on July 6th. Make sure to arrive early to find parking and a good spot to spectate from! SEC is proud to provide paid volunteer time to cooperative team members as they give back to their communities and serve their neighbors. We've donated $5,000 to Southside Virginia Community College’s Power Line Worker program which will cover the tuition of a student for the upcoming semester. The next class starts their 11 weeks of training today; we're excited to see these future linemen begin their journey! #SEC #Scholarships
