  • This month we celebrate 10 incredible years of flying to San José, Costa Rica! 🇨🇷 As we look back on this journey, we are grateful for vibrant cultures, stunning scenery, and the friendships we've built along the way. Thank you to everyone who has flown with us and made this journey possible. Here’s to many more years of adventure and exploration together!

  • Follow along with Captain Matt M. as he pilots one of our first redeye flights! 💙❤️💛 Currently, we're operating 15 redeye flights and, over the coming months, we will continue to scale redeye flying, including redeye flights from Hawaii! Redeye flying is a key part of our "Southwest. Even Better." transformational plan and offers more options to our Customers.

  • Happy National Rosie the Riveter Day! 💪 Today, we celebrate the incredible women who played a pivotal role in America's victory during World War II. Their determination and resilience inspired a nation, and their legacy continues to empower us today. We're honored to have sponsored the flights of two remarkable women, Ginger (92) and Barbara (86), as they traveled to Hawaii to headline the celebrations at Pearl Harbor National Memorial. Ginger and Barbara (who is a direct descendant of a Rosie) embody the spirit of these trailblazing women. We hosted a special celebration at the gate and welcomed them with open arms upon their arrival in Hawaii. Join us in honoring these remarkable women and all the Rosies who shaped our history. 💙 ❤️ 💛

  • All because two people fell in love ❤️ Gregg, a now retired Pilot, and Angelica, a Flight Attendant, fell in love at 35,000 feet while working flights together on the love airline. Their daughters, Jessica and Keleko, spent their whole lives dreaming of joining their parents in the sky. Now that dream has become a reality! While Captain Gregg may be retired, Jessica, Keleko, and Angelica still enjoy any opportunity to share the sky together. 💙❤️💛

  • Our People are known for going above and beyond to serve our Customers. That's exactly what our Employees at Long Beach International Airport did when they discovered a left-behind phone in the gate area and learned it belonged to a Customer on a flight that was already pushed back from the gate. After a few handoffs and an impressive layup, they made sure that Customer got their phone back before takeoff!

  • Twice a year, our San Diego Employees work with Canine Companions® to mock up a flight, so these sweet service dogs in training can practice their airport manners. Canine Companions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by providing expertly trained service dogs at no charge. Our Team went all out to make it feel like a real flight, complete with announcements and interactions. From check-in to boarding, these future service dogs get to practice being perfect passengers. The destination? Flight 619 from SAN to PAW (Pup City), of course! We're so proud to be part of helping these incredible dogs become confident companions for their future owners. And let's be honest, who wouldn't want to fly with these adorable faces? 🦮 💙❤️💛
