Spooky Scary…candles? You’d think candles were scary, too, if you saw them in the world of Stranger Things! Our team produced and executed a campaign to launch the recent collaboration between Bath & Body Works and Netflix’s iconic series Stranger Things. By integrating original show assets and new visual effects into live-action footage that was shot on three distinctive sets, we were able to capture the true essence of the Bath & Body Works brand in a Stranger Things world. So pop some popcorn, curl up on the couch, and light your favorite candle to binge some spooky-scaries of your own! Haunted by your 2025 marketing goals? Reach out to your favorite content development studio, Spacejunk, to learn how we can make any nightmare a dream come true (in a good way, we promise)!

Last week was World Mental Health Day, but we think it’s an important enough topic to deserve some additional time in the spotlight. In this week’s edition of Made in Space, Executive Producer + Head of Production Christa Cox discusses the creation of the 2018 On Our Sleeves campaign done with our long-time partners at Nationwide Children's Hospital. This project holds a special place in the heart of SPACEJUNK and we hope you enjoy getting a behind the scenes view into the creation process.

In 2018, we were excited to collaborate with Nationwide Children's Hospital on the launch of their groundbreaking, award-winning On Our Sleeves campaign, which focused on children’s mental health. Since then, Nationwide Children’s Hospital has empowered over 11 million families, educators, and businesses to prioritize mental health as an essential part of every child’s upbringing. Fast forward to 2024, and On Our Sleeves has evolved into The Kids Mental Health Foundation. We are honored that NCH once again chose Spacejunk to help bring this expanded mission to life. “This project was incredibly meaningful to Spacejunk, and I believe everyone involved went above and beyond to ensure its success. As a director and a father, I felt a deep connection to the children and parents involved, and I’m immensely grateful to them and the exceptional team at KMHF for trusting me to share their story.” - Brent Jackson, Senior Director Every detail of this campaign was meticulously crafted, from the national casting call to the motion graphics toolkit and the accompanying video and photo campaign. Our team is immensely proud of this project and the incredible organization it supports. We hope you enjoy the results. Sometimes, the best product showcase happens when you keep it real—real customers, real results. That’s why we teamed up with Worthington Enterprises to launch their Bernzomatic Firepoint Torches with an extensive marketing campaign. Spacejunk generated a full suite of assets: from long form video to product photography and everything in between. The end results? A cinematic, award winning project that still has us smiling. We're grateful to share this campaign we recently launched for our friends at Agrace, a non-profit, community based healthcare agency that provides hospice and supportive care services to their clients in Wisconsin. The execution of design, animation and personal stories of these specific service areas for Parkinsons, Dementia and Heart Failure was a true collaboration between the Agrace and Spacejunk teams. The challenge of working with stock video is the collaboration and diligence it took to find footage that works together to tell not only a coherent story, (which is a minor miracle with stock!) but that the stories are impactful on an emotional level. Finding and arranging the footage was the challenge, and we were very appreciative of Agrace's partnership, communication and just sheer patience – as the experts – to find the right combination. In short, this isn't accomplished easily (and not with AI). This was true teamwork! Enjoy the full campaign here (https://simian.me/e1ps5) and give Kelly Sells a shout with questions.

Recently, Spacejunk had the pleasure of working with Worthington Enterprises and Balloon Time to produce a live-action video campaign featuring their convenient and easy-to-use helium tanks. In collaboration with their internal creatives, our Spacejunk team designed a 3-day shoot that captured six different mini-stories, each embodying the idea that, “Balloon Time is there for any and every celebration!” The six mini-stories included: - Birthday bash - The big game - Kindergarten milestone - College graduation - Bridal party brunch - Baby Shower Spacejunk’s creative vision was to present each story as an authentic and lived-in expression of the Balloon Time brand, so getting the details right was crucial. Our pre-production process was a key factor, involving scripting, storyboarding, location scouting, art department direction, and casting for over 40 talent! When delivered, this campaign provided Balloon Time with six 30-second mini-stories, a longer-form piece that links them all together, and countless high-quality product images; essentially creating a new library of lifestyle brand assets for this year and beyond.
