We surveyed more than 150 self-storage owners, operators and managers across the country to learn more about their preferences and priorities for 2024, and found that 98% either remotely manage their stores now or are interested in doing so in the future. However, of the 32% of respondents who have not yet adopted some form of remote management, 40% cite installation costs as their primary deterrent to doing so.
