Some food for thought as you watch the amazing athletes at the Olympics this year. "In a survey of about 1,000 American athletes in the Olympic and Paralympic pipelines, 26.5% reported individual incomes under $15,000 a year." We love watching our country's athletes compete on the world stage, but remember that most are 1) not receiving extra $$$ from the big media and corporate endorsement $$, and 2) even if they get a boost in the Olympic weeks, they've gone through YEARS of hard work and struggle to get there. At Spid Werkz Foundation, we are here to help extraordinary athletes bridge financial and support gaps. With help from you, we can change the story for future athletes and use sport for good across the world! Please consider a tax deductible donation to support Olympic and Paralympic athletes! https://lnkd.in/eqacx6-2

It's Giving Tuesday! We would very much appreciate any donations to help support our athletes and our initiatives in giving back to building positive changes and support in elite athletics! https://lnkd.in/eDz36uPN
It's Giving Tuesday, and it would mean a lot if you considered donating to a small non-profit that I help run (Spid Werkz Foundation 501(c)(3)). We help support amateur athletes that are training/competing for Team USA. The athletes we select to sponsor are unique individuals that come from diverse backgrounds and groups. We are incredibly proud to have a current class of athletes that is majority female and also has LBGTQ+ and Paralympic representation. Most recently, our athletes have won a World Championship silver medal and qualified the USA for the 2024 Paris Paralympics in rowing (Todd Vogt), competed in the Head of the Charles Regatta (Todd Vogt, Grace Libben, John Olbrys), and trained for the latest addition to the LA 2028 program (Liz Hinley, Coastal Rowing). Thank you so much - every dollar helps us build a sustainable athlete group that gives back to the sport and the community.
