What's the hardest part about creating a video? 🎥 Getting started. Here are a few practical considerations for when you're embarking on a new video project: ➡ Ask "why." Why do you need this video? Why is video the best way to tell the story? Why are we doing this and why should people care? ➡ What kind of video do you need? Narrative, documentary, fundraising pitch, Q&A...There are many ways to approach a subject. What will be most effective for meeting your goals? ➡ Know your audience. What will best resonate with your audience to gain their attention and elicit the response you desire? ➡ What is your call to action? They watched your video. Now what? Email sign-ups? Donations? Volunteers? Along with knowing your audience, let your goal and expected outcomes drive the creative process. ➡ What assets do you have and what do you need? B-roll and interviews are a must. But do you also have archival photos or old videos that could be incorporated? Will you need to stage any action for the video or fill in gaps with professional stock footage? ➡ How will you use the video? Videos can be an expensive investment, so don't just play the video once at your event or let it languish on your YouTube channel with 14 organic views. Craft a plan to highlight the video across your channels and use bits and pieces of it to create even more content. These are just a few of the questions you should be asking yourself as you approach your next project. And it doesn't have to be overwhelming! We would love the opportunity to connect with you and work through the details. Leave a comment or drop us a line at hello@spiritjuice.com. We welcome the impossible idea! ✨

Repurposing content. 🔄 Everyone wants to do it, but how do you do it effectively? Let's explore. 🔎 🎙️ The Poco a Poco podcast by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal is a weekly show produced by Spirit Juice Entertainment Group and has been downloaded more than 3.8 million times over the course of 240+ episodes. 📈 This podcast is clearly resonating with its audience, so why settle for just audio content? 👀 🎥 We set the friars up with cameras and microphones so a video version of the podcast could be shared on YouTube and social media (even more views of each episode!) 📺✨ 🎯 Using clips from the video episodes, we created Facebook ads to gain email subscribers who signed up to receive a link to the video version of each new episode. (Now they’re on our email list instead of just being anonymous podcast app listeners!) 📧 ✂️ The full video episodes are cut down into short-form clips to be used as Reels on Instagram and YouTube Shorts. (btw, that’s the best content to post to gain followers on those platforms right now 🔥) Lastly, we’ve used this engaged and growing audience to get donations supporting all the behind-the-scenes production work that goes into creating this podcast. 🤝 🎬 If you need help making multimedia content—and making the most of it once you’ve got it—Spirit Juice Studios has the answers. 💡 Leave a comment on this post 👇 or contact us on our website to get started! And click the link in the comments to subscribe to Poco a Poco! 🎧

Although raised a Catholic, John Verly slowly began to drift away from the faith in adulthood. It wasn't until he experienced a brain cancer diagnosis that he came to realize the necessity of placing his life entirely in God’s hands. In this video, John tells the story of his journey and his desire to share a message of faith, hope, and love with the world. "The play’s the thing / wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the king." 🎭 This line from Hamlet--one of the most famous stories ever told--speaks to the importance of storytelling. 👑 💀 The ability to create and share stories is one of the qualities that makes us human. We are wired for telling and hearing stories. That's why a good story is at the foundation of successful communications, cutting through the noise to reach your desired audience. ➡ If you can't effectively tell your story, you can't effectively share your ideas, your goals, or your impact. 🔶 No one will follow you on Instagram. 🔶 No one will click to visit your website. 🔶 No one will sign up for email updates. 🔶 No one will attend your event. 🔶 No one will make a donation. NO ONE WILL CARE. Storytelling makes us care. So what is your story and how are you telling it? We tell stories every day, and we can help you tell yours in a way that will catch the conscience of the king...or accomplish your marketing goals that are probably a little less Shakespearean. In today's world, "the video's the thing." 🎥 At Spirit Juice Studios, we bring your stories to life with high-quality video content that drives action and connection. Let us help you capture attention and inspire results. Ready to tell your story? Fill out the form in the comments to start a conversation!
