🎮 Quick test I did yesterday! I imported a 3D #GaussianSplatting environment into #UnrealEngine ’s first-person template. Just added some basic collision primitives, and that’s it... no shadow catcher, no relighting, yet it still looks pretty cool! The environment was created with Splatica (handled dark spots better than expected). I swapped the central fountain with a more detailed one captured on my iPhone using Scaniverse. If this is what #3DGS can do with minimal effort, imagine how far it could be pushed with just a little more work.
