One of the most challenging aspects of any surface preparation job is working around other trades. An extra layer of issues comes into play if a building wishes to stay open for business during an abrasive blasting project. When a project in Massachusetts removing failed coatings, automotive soot, and corrosion from 100,000 square feet of roof decking faced these challenges, the contractor knew they needed to use a low-dust, low-rebound abrasive in order to keep other workers and nearby pedestrians safe throughout the process. When a pipe manufacturer in Mexico needed to remove mill scale and rust from 278,876m² (3,001,792ft²) of steel pipe internals - Quickjet was there. At first they tried ordinary abrasives, but they were only able to blast about 5 pipes per day. Although we don't always have the opportunity to walk through projects with our customers after blasting, we love admiring their hard work when we do.
