Royal Scot Golf & Bowl in Lansing, Michigan, and the Lansing Sports Commission will host the 2026 and 2027 NAIA Bowling National Championships, the collegiate organization has announced.

USA Wrestling President Bruce Baumgartner has been elected to a position on the United World Wrestling Bureau, the governing council for the international wrestling federation. Baumgartner, from Edinboro, Pennsylvania, was among seven individuals elected during the vote at the UWW Congress in Tirana, Albania, on October 27.

The Florida Sports Foundation’s evolution is continuing with the promotion of one longtime industry veteran and the hire of a young professional from across the country. Joseph Piotrowski, STS, SDLT has been promoted to vice president of sports development of the Florida Sports Foundation and Millie Osguthorpe, the director of sales for Visit Ogden, will join the Foundation as director of sports development.

Arizona will play against Duke and Indiana will tip off against Kansas at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in the 2027 Hall of Fame Series on November 12, the first time basketball will be played in the stadium that will host a future NCAA Men’s Final Four. The event is being produced by Position Sports and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority - LVCVA.

The Breeders’ Cup, which brings together the best race horses and jockeys in the world, is headed to where the “Turf Meets the Surf” the next two years. That tagline for Del Mar Thoroughbred Club is meant literally, as the racetrack which sits 20 miles north of San Diego is situated hundreds of feet from the Pacific Ocean. And for the next two years, it’ll host an event that brings in nearly $100 million of economic impact for San Diego County.

The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board celebrated what is a record year in 2024 and looked ahead to a few major sports events coming to Montgomery County in 2025 at its annual luncheon on Friday. Valley Forge is on pace to hit approximately 106,000 room nights for sports-related events, the fourth year in a row the bureau sets a record for sports-related economic impact.

USA Baseball will host two major esports tournaments this weekend at the North Carolina State University Gaming and Esports Lab between the USA eBaseball Finals on October 25, while the World Baseball Softball Confederation ePremier12 opening round will take place October 26–27.

USA Team Handball has announced Michael King as its chief executive officer, the organization’s third in the past 20 months.
