My son Jonah is neurodivergent. He sees the world differently. While that difference is beautiful, it also comes with challenges. My wife and I have spent years navigating systems that weren’t built for kids like him, stepping in as advocates when support fell short. Looking ahead a few years, Jonah will enter the workforce. Will he get the support he needs to succeed? Will workplaces recognize his strengths and create an environment where he can thrive? Right now, too many employees and their families are left figuring it out alone. Workplaces can and should do better. I wrote about what it means to build truly neuroinclusive organizations and how companies can take meaningful steps today.

Our Chief Marketing Officer Joanna Lord shared this poem* to our team today: "Saw this today and thought it was a good reminder, of not just why we're named Spring, but what it means to millions of people..." Nearly 9 years ago, Adam Chekroud and I named Spring Health after the season because we wanted to bring hope to people’s lives. Today, we have the privilege of doing that for 20 million covered lives—and we’re just getting started. Happy first day of spring everyone 🌷 . *I’d love to credit the writer of this poem—does anyone know who they are?

At Tidal 2025, hundreds of HR, benefits, and mental health leaders came together to discuss how organizations can support employee well-being while managing costs. Drive engagement while proving ROI. Lead with empathy while making tough business decisions. With speakers from Adobe, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Delta Air Lines, and more, attendees were left with hope and key insights about the future of mental healthcare. We’re sharing the top 5 takeaways here: 1. Mental health is no longer a cost—it’s a business strategy. We need to reposition mental health benefits as risk management, not just employee wellness.
 2. Frame mental health as a workforce productivity investment to secure CFO buy-in. Shift the perception that mental health is a cost. Instead, it’s an investment toward long-term financial impact, risk mitigation, and employee productivity.
 3. Scaling global mental health requires localized strategies. Avoid a once-size-fits-all approach. Work with local HR leaders to tailor mental health solutions for each region.
 4. AI is reshaping mental health support at scale. Invest in AI-driven mental health solutions to improve access, speed to care, and regional personalization.
 5. Leadership drives the success of workplace mental health programs. Train managers to recognize and support employee mental health needs. Encourage executives to share personal stories — this normalizes care-seeking and boosts program engagement. Find more key insights on the blog: https://lnkd.in/gnmqzSJ2

  • 💡 Neurodiversity isn’t a limitation—it’s a strength. Neurodiversity refers to the natural variation in how human brains process information, learn, and interact with the world. It includes conditions like ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and more. Millions of people globally are neurodivergent, and their unique ways of thinking can offer many benefits to the workplace. Yet, traditional work environments aren’t always built with neurodivergence in mind. Fostering inclusive spaces, with flexibility, clear communication, and supportive leadership, can unlock the full potential of neurodivergent professionals. 💬 To all the neurodivergent professionals out there: how has your neurodivergence supported you in your role? #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek

“Let them.” These two simple words allow you release control and protect your peace. That's the core thesis of Mel Robbins new book The “Let Them” Theory—which Oprah Winfrey herself has endorsed. Because, as Robbins says, you’re in charge of how you respond to life’s challenges—from being passed over for a promotion at work to a friend not inviting you to their birthday party to a driver cutting you off in traffic. Let them. “Let them” (and its equally important “let me”) gives you back your power. 💬 Has the "let them" theory helped you or changed your perspective? Share your thoughts in the comments. #mentalhealth #melrobbins #letthem

BDR Leader | AI Consultant | ERG President

When I started at this company, I relapsed. I had been using substances almost daily and drinking ritualistically on weekends for more than half my life. The new job, in a new industry, in a new segment, at a new company was too much. My second week, they flew me to a kickoff event with hundreds of strangers. Talk about immersion. My anxiety was through the roof, so I drank. I broke 60 days of sobriety for some social lubrication to fit in and be slightly less awkward. But it didn’t fix the root issue — the anxiety stayed even after the event. Imposter syndrome consumed me. I had never sold in the benefits space, let alone at this echelon. My background was SMB and MM SaaS. How on earth was I supposed to enable reps? Train, teach, and develop programming. I swore I was in over my head. But I was lucky to endure this struggle at Spring Health. I was lucky to take a quick screener and find a therapist and a coach who understood. Lucky to have access to the tools and an environment that encouraged me to get support. To break the stigma. Last week, I celebrated 2 years of sobriety. In that time, I’ve met people in recovery, allies, and the sober curious. We banded together and formed Sober @ Spring, an ERG dedicated to breaking the stigma of substance use. We’ve supported more than 70 of our peers, reached tens of thousands with anti-stigma campaigns, and made a real impact for real people. It’s lucky when you sell a thing that you can use yourself. It’s even luckier when your thing quite literally changes lives. That belief is so important — it gives a seller conviction to spread the word. To evangelize your thing. To advocate for the big picture transformation your marketing jargon promises. If you want to top sales leaderboards or make your way to P Club, it’s a whole lot easier when you have genuine belief. Ask me how I know. #sales #sobriety #mentalhealth
