This is an opportunity to dive in and make a real difference in the lives of people living in long-term care facilities and assisted living residences. These volunteers receive intensive training and support and fulfill a vital role in advocating for some of our more vulnerable neighbors. Springwell program managers and current volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions.

Happy National Nutrition Month! Springwell delivered more than 525,000 meals to more than 4,000 people last year. We are busy every day getting the right meal to the right person in the right location, but we can't do it alone! We need the support of our community in many ways, most especially in recruiting staff and volunteers, as well as for donations that help us close the gap between the funding we receive and the cost of running our vital nutrition programs. Our CEO, Trish Smith joined with Mass Home Care, Mass Senior Action Council, AARP of Massachusetts and hundreds of older adult activists for Older Adult Lobby Day at the state house on Tuesday to advocate for improved support services. Thanks to everyone who turned out on behalf of older adults in Massachusetts.
