We are excited to be hosting The Wall That Heals exhibit at Jefferson Barracks Historic Site in 2025! The exhibit includes a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial along with a mobile Education Center. The traveling exhibit honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Vietnam War and it bears the names of the 58,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. As we experience dangerously cold temperatures, we want to remind our community that our Winter Warming Emergency Shelter is open. The shelter will operate through March 7, 2025, offering shelter, hot meals, and support services. Clients may call 211 for assistance and entry. The Shelter is located at The Salvation Army, 10740 Page Ave., St. Louis, MO 63132. In addition, walk-in day services are available at Loaves and Fishes, located at 2055 Concourse Dr., Maryland Heights, MO 63146. This location offers limited services, including emergency shelter referrals, case management assessments, laundry and hygiene access, and meals and telephone access.
