On July 9th, our current interns had an incredible opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of healthcare at our Prepare for Your Career Day event! The day kicked off with an exciting tour of the Stanford Hospital, and an inspiring visit to Stanford Life Flight listening to how a team or pilot and nurses handle medical emergency expeditiously while on air. Our interns then had the privilege to hear from 5 of our leaders; David J. Somers, Michael J. Kozuma, Adam Alkhato, Alpa Vyas and Elizabeth Oyekan, PharmD, FCSHP, CPHQ, during a career panel, sharing invaluable insights and experiences in their career journey. We wrapped up the day with a vital discussion on crafting a professional presence online, ensuring our interns are well-equipped for their future careers.
