It is an honor to spotlight one of the driving forces of Startup Atlanta – Lexie Newhouse! Lexie has led the Atlanta Startup Awards in the past two years which includes all communications, graphic design, and overall project management. The vision for this year’s Startup Awards was hers alone and she executed flawlessly. In addition, she serves on various committees within Startup Atlanta, always willing to lend her gifts for the betterment of this organization and beyond. It is clear that Lexie’s heart is in the work and support she gives to the Atlanta startup community as she is involved in numerous projects and programs in support of founders, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Our team members, Rob DePaola and Lea Zinyemba, were there to receive the award and share thoughts on the exciting progress we've had building a solution for such an important problem. I want to take a moment to celebrate Lexie Newhouse. She led the Startup Atlanta awards event this week highlighting the innovative organizations and people driving real change in the #ATL ecosystem. The event was flawless, from clear & concise pre-event communications to a well rehearsed and executed awards ceremony. I first met her during her role @Invest Atlanta where she led Innovation & Entrepreneurship Programs. She's now extending that work as a program director @Boomtown Innovation Thank you for all your help fulfilling Donnie Beamer Jr., CFA's, and many of ours', goal to make #Atlanta a top 5 #startup city in the U.S.

Its truly an honor to be recognized by Startup Atlanta as the 2024 Community Builder of the Year. Thank you for this incredible award that means so much to me both personally and professionally.
