The Startup Grind Conference accelerates the world for 48 hours in the heart of Silicon Valley promoting collaboration over competition, where genuine connections are formed and deals are done. Dia 3 de Mexico Tech Week ✅ Contra todo pronóstico, llegamos a la semifinal del Deel Padel Tour organizado por Lina M. Orozco. 99% mérito de Adrian Trucios, sin duda 😂 Seaya Cathay Latam se puso la 10 y nos entregó un gran evento de SaaS con invitados de lujo. Clouxter y Startup Grind la sacaron del estadio con uno de los eventos más esperados: VC trajineras en Xochimilco 🇲🇽 (caray! la barra la estás dejando muy alta, Guillermo Vizcaino). Entrada la tarde, escala juntó a lxs tremendxs Rosalaura Lopez, Robbie J Frye 🎤 y Angel Cisneros (y masaje de Scape incluído!), vivimos una sesión de lujo con Alejandro Monteagudo, Maria Ariza, Ricardo Weder y Dr. Enrique Presburger en las oficinas de BIVA... Lo logramos, Daniela Calleja 🫶 Por cierto, felicidades a todas las 100 startups seleccionadas en el listado de NuMundo Ventures Nascent y Mexico Tech Week 🚨 Hay talento y hay ganas en México !!!! Y de cierre, full networking con el VC Open House de Hi Ventures (formerly ALLVP) DILA Capital COMETA y NAZCA al mismo tiempo de Wednesday Social de Angel Ventures, Dux Capital y Saptiva AI ... y esto es una pequeña muestra de los +50 eventos que hubo en el día! 😮💨 café, meditación y a seguirle que esto se pone cada vez mejor 🏃♂️

The first step in crafting the future of tech is to understand its evolution. Imagine stepping into a room filled with the brightest minds in venture capital and tech. The topic being "VC Trends and Tech Evolution" I was warmly greeted by James Gee, the OG of Startup Grind and David (Dong Hee) Lee at A&O Shearman, who graciously sponsored the beautiful space for the event. *Note to self: Always show up early at these events. That way you get to meet the organizers and sponsors. In this case, I had some great exchanges and will be following up in the days to come. The energy was palpable. Here’s why: Imagine walking into a room where you meet: • VCs • Founders • Industry leaders • Innovators • Game changers Not your average event, right? Now imagine an agenda packed with: • Networking • Panel discussions • Audience Q&A • Drinks and more networking That’s the power of a well-organized event. The panelists included top-tier venture capitalists discussing the rise of innovation in Silicon Valley, the evolution of venture funding, the role of AI, and ongoing industry trends: Mahak Sharma joined us from Google, Janelle Teng from the San Francisco office of Bessemer Venture Partners, Ryan Chandra from Data & AI investments at Accenture and Srishti Jain Kawatra is an investor at 500 Global. Events like these are more than just gatherings. → They’re opportunities to connect. → They’re platforms to learn from the best. → They’re where future deals are made. It does matter so much.
