Interns play a crucial role, and we're excited for you to meet our summer interns. Meet Andrew Mixdorf: The mechanical engineering major just finished his freshman year at Iowa State University. Originally from Clear Lake, Iowa, he is interning with the Production Engineering team this summer, helping to optimize the production process. His internship goal is to further his engineering skill set, network and learn what it truly means to be an engineer. “I want to gain more insight into the Engineering Field and develop new skills and knowledge to help me in my future.” #intern #Cyclones #engineer

Meet Jake Scheel: The University of Northern Iowa senior is set to graduate in December with a degree in automation and electrical engineering. This summer he is interning with the Production Engineering team, doing CAD work and researching ways to make production more efficient. His goal is to fill the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience to better prepare him for his future. “I’m really glad to have the opportunity to work side-by-side with other engineers, so I can see how different it is on this side of things, compared to being in the classroom, or even being down on the floor.”

Interns play a crucial role, and we're excited for you to meet our summer interns. Meet Andrew Ramon: The University of Northern Iowa junior is a double major in Finance and Real Estate. This summer he will be working with the Human Resources team where he will be involved with a United Way project, update the internship program and participate in hiring and employee onboarding activities. The Nora Springs, Iowa, native aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of HR operations and expand his network by connecting with employees across various departments at Stellar. “The welcoming environment at Stellar provides me with a sense of comfort and support, fostering ample opportunities for personal growth and learning as I prepare for what lies ahead.”

We sincerely express our gratitude to all the contributors who made generous donations to our recent clothing drive initiative, facilitated by our fantastic interns. We are excited for our upcoming clothing drive, designed chiefly to benefit Garner and other local families. Our goal centers around providing clothing items for children in stages from preschool to high school, aiming to equip every school-going child with the resources to embark on the new academic year with comfort, confidence, and pride.

Last year, we were proud to contribute towards the construction of a new baseball and softball complex here in Garner. Last Friday was the official declaration of the newly inaugurated Stellar Sports Complex. Our contribution serves as a reaffirmation of our pledge to invest in community development, ensuring a state-of-the-art facility for Garner residents across all age groups, including the children of our employees, to enjoy in the years to come. While the entire complex is named after Stellar, one of the three diamonds is named 'Dodd Field'. This stands as a tribute to Garner's long-serving mayor and our esteemed colleague, Ivan Dodd, who devoted 26 years of service to the city. It was an honor to share this occasion with Ivan's family.
