What a wonderful start to digital inclusion week! Always so great to partner with The STEM Alliance!
The STEM Alliance kicked off Digital Inclusion Week with a device distribution in Port Chester, NY. 75 refurbished laptops, donated by AT&T and Human-I-T, were provided to our amazing community partners: Port Chester Carver Center, Alcance Latino in White Plains, and the Community Resource Center in Mamaroneck. Together, we're bridging the digital divide — with each device empowering teens and adults in need as they work towards school completion and job opportunities. Listening to Francella Ochillo's keynote speech on digital equity at Converge Conference hosted by STEM Alliance was truly inspiring. One quote that resonated with me was, "The hardest thing to scale is love!" As we considered scaling our business through franchising, this idea weighed heavily on our minds. How can you ensure we find owners who genuinely care? How can we attract individuals with heart who want to foster a loving, supportive and inclusive community in their own neighborhoods? When evaluating our candidates, we turn to our Core Values to assess their alignment with our brand. At the heart of these values are love, acceptance and inclusion. Principles that truly define who we are as a company! Let's scale love, compassion and also fun!
