𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 Working at Stewart Companies is more than a livelihood for three generations of Mundis family members—it's a legacy of learning, growing, and building structures and futures alike. Beginning with Mel Mundis, who enthusiastically passed down his commitment and passion for construction, the generational spirit has been carried on by son Mike and grandson Brandon, who are each making their own marks at Stewart & Tate Construction and York Building Products. We recently had the honor of hearing from them about their purposeful career journeys. 𝗠𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀 (𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) Mel Mundis started his career as an equipment operator at Stewart & Tate. Over the years, his dedication and work ethic led to promotions to foreman and site superintendent. For 43 years, Mel was at the forefront of memorable projects, including the York Galleria Mall and the patient care tower at York Hospital. Reflecting on his family's involvement, Mel shared, "I'm proud of both my son and grandson for continuing the work we started. I was always a handyman at home, even building my own house, and they would help me with various projects. I think that inspired them to follow in my footsteps into construction." 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀 (𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) Like his father, Mike began his career with Stewart & Tate and later transitioned to York Building Products, where he has been an electrician supporting masonry operations for 30 years. Mike worked directly with his father on projects at Stewart & Tate for about two years before a specialized position in his area of expertise called him to make the move. When asked what it means to see his son join the Stewart Companies, Mike expressed his pride, saying, "I'm proud of him. He started out as a laborer, and now he's a foreman. I hope he continues to grow into leadership positions from a place of honesty and being true to himself." 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀 (𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) Brandon has been with Stewart & Tate for six years. Growing up surrounded by construction, Brandon's career choice felt like a natural progression. Now a site superintendent, he credits the influence of both his father and grandfather in shaping his career. "I've always been around construction. My dad and grandfather were both in it, and they always said Stewart Companies was a great place to work. I love that I'm able to solve new problems every day and continue learning in this role," Brandon shared. Grandfather Mel added, "I hope Brandon continues to be happy in his role and keeps learning. You learn the most when you're the one in charge, and I know he's got what it takes to succeed." We are grateful to Mel, Mike, and Brandon for their dedication in service to our team, clients and communities. THANK YOU for allowing us to be part of your family’s career journey.

“𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣.” 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 & 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗱: 𝗗𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 David Packard began his career with Stewart & Tate Construction in 1976 as a laborer. He recalls his first days on the job running a jackhammer with a crew installing telephone duct in York. It didn’t take long for the company leadership to recognize David’s commitment and dedication. From there, a career journey that would span multiple roles and generations was set into motion. David soon moved to an in-demand crew responsible for building bridges and was then promoted to foreman and site superintendent. His career journey at Stewart & Tate spanned four decades and inspired his son Josh to pursue his own goal of becoming an operator on a construction team. Josh followed in his dad’s footsteps, starting out as a laborer with Stewart & Tate in 2004 with a steadfast focus on learning to become an operator. That first year, the father and son duo had their initial opportunity to work side-by-side. “𝘋𝘢𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘭𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘫𝘰𝘣 𝘪𝘯 2004, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺,” 𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘩 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴. “𝘞𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘣 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘬. 𝘐 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.” Just like his father, Josh has been driven to grow his knowledge and experience. After his start as a laborer, he dug in and was rewarded with the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, deploy a wide range of technology, and gain experience across a variety of projects. Today, his 20+ year career path has led him to project management, where he is able to apply all his experiences gained in the field and all his father’s teachings to help bring jobs to successful completion. Josh credits the opportunity to learn from his dad and many other mentors he had the good fortune to work alongside as part of the Stewart & Tate team as a key factor in his career growth. “𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯.” 𝘋𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘥’𝘴 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 20 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥. “𝘐’𝘮 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘩 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘥,” 𝘋𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴. The dedication to continuous learning and growth David and Josh share is inspiring, and we are honored and grateful to be part of their career journeys. THANK YOU, Packard family, for allowing us to be part of your story. #CareersInConstruction #TeamSpotlight #StewartCompanies #StewartAndTateConstruction #Generations #CICM
