Last week, Emily Koenig, our executive director, and Paulette Foerster, our chief program officer, attended the Early Childhood Funders conference in Washington, DC. They brought back valuable insights about best practices in quality early childhood education, what's worked and what hasn't for other funders working in this field, how to strengthen connections with funded partners and community, and much more. Thank you Early Childhood Funders Collaborative for hosting a wonderful conference!

Improving the lives of kids and families by investing in quality mental and behavioral health services.
About us
At the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund, we are focused on improving the lives of kids and their families by strategically investing in programs and services that deliver effective and quality mental and behavioral health services. As the largest children’s service fund in the state of Missouri, we fund local nonprofits through a voter-approved quarter-cent sales tax. Since our first allocation in 2010, we have invested over $450 million into children, youth, and families through collaborative partnership with industry leaders that utilize innovative approaches to serve some of the region’s most vulnerable communities. Through our investment, we are helping kids create brighter futures.

We had a wonderful afternoon at the 9th annual Stepping Up For Kids event hosted by Vision For Children At Risk. Guest speaker Orvin Kimbrough shared his experience in the foster system with us, and offered a moving reminder to "be encouraged" as we continue our work serving kids and families. It was a beautiful and inspiring celebration of those who uplift and support kids and families in foster, adoptive, and kinship care. #SteppingUpForKids #CommunityImpact

What an amazing day at RefreshED STL this past Saturday! We had a wonderful time celebrating our incredible educators and school staff with wellness sessions, fun activities, great food, and a resource fair. Everyone who works in or supports schools in the St. Louis region plays a critical role in ensuring our kids and families are supported and cared for. We were honored to show them how much we appreciate their work with this day of wellness and self care. Thank you to all who joined us and made the day so special! #RefreshEDSTL #STLCSF
