Last week at our all team meeting we had the opportunity to pack harm reduction kits in partnership with Avivo. These kits will be essential making sure people can live their lives safely and can work their way towards a successful recovery. As shown in the photos below, our team put their knowledge of the manufacturing industry to work creating a production line that ran smooth and efficient. We packed 500 kits in about an hour! We appreciate the opportunity to work with Avivo, an organization who's mission is to increase well-being through recovery and career advancement while working to end homelessness. In employee-owned companies, CEO Transitions can be very difficult. Often the retiring CEO is a beloved leader, sometimes a former owner, or even founder of the company. Employee owners, customers, vendors etc. are legitimately anxious when these transitions are in the near future. This is why its critical to have a strong Board of Directors in place, a solid strategic plan, and to start the process early – as early as five years out from the actual transition.
