We spent months trying to integrate our data. Nothing worked—until we tried this: I was at my wit's end. We had data siloed across the organization. Sales data in one system, marketing in another, finance in yet another. No way to get a complete business picture. And definitely no way to leverage AI. We tried all the usual approaches. ETL, APIs, data warehouses. None of it worked. Then, we had an idea. Instead of moving all our data into one place, what if we brought AI to the data? We started experimenting with distributed AI architectures. Models that could run on data where it lived, then aggregate insights centrally. It was a big bet. But it paid off huge. Suddenly, we could get AI-powered answers in real-time. No waiting for data cleaning, moving, processing. Just instant, actionable intelligence. I'm not saying distributed AI is perfect. It comes with its own challenges. But for us, it unlocked AI's power when nothing else could. So if you're stuck trying to integrate data, think outside the box. Maybe the answer isn't centralizing everything. Maybe it's bringing your AI to where your data lives. It worked for us. Could it work for you?

The biggest obstacle to AI adoption isn’t technology. In fact, it’s far from it: It’s how you prepare your team for it. As an IT Leader, you know that implementing AI is as much about change management as it is about technology. After all, even the most powerful AI solutions will fail if your people resist them.
