Job Title: Director of APU Trading
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of APU Trading to lead our sales & purchasing efforts and drive revenue growth for our company's APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) products. The APU Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with customers and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales & purchasing, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the APU market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive
revenue growth for APU products.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the entire sales team to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded for the APU Product Line.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the APU market, including customer needs, market trends, and current pricing.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our APU products and generate new business leads.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in sales, with at least 3 years of experience in a sales leadership role within the APU or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of the APU market, including customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics, with the ability to develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events and support the sales team.
