We recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of our Child Development Center! Opened on March 6, 2000, it provides our associates on first and second shift with convenient access to safe and secure, high quality pre-K childcare. To mark the occasion, our children participated in a week’s worth of special activities, including pajama day, reading sessions with SIA personnel, a police car and firetruck visit, and career day. The 13,000-plus square foot building includes classrooms for infants, toddlers and pre-school-aged children, as well as three outdoor play areas. Operated by Bright Horizons for the duration of its existence, it can accommodate up to 120 kids ranging in age from six weeks to six years.
