I am thrilled to share big news. My wife, Gloria Abiodun, and I are launching a $1.3M endowment fund to help aspiring software engineers in Nigeria access the training they need to succeed. It’s a milestone we’ve dreamed of, and now it’s real. Africa’s potential is massive. By 2040, Africa is set to have half the world’s working-age population. To really unleash that power, young people need access to quality training and opportunities, especially in fast-growing fields like AI and blockchain. But in places like Nigeria, interest rates can top 35%. That kind of burden holds back too many talented students who just need the right support to succeed. So we’re stepping in with this endowment to give talented students the resources they need. We’re making this happen through a donation to Inurere Foundation, with Meedl handling the administration. We’re teaming up with Semicolon and their awesome Techpreneurship program, offering student loans to future software engineers. The mission? Make education financing more accessible, so more brilliant minds can develop globally competitive tech skills. We’ll also support training in smart contract programming languages like Move, the backbone of the Sui Network. At Mysten Labs, we’re building decentralized infrastructure and pushing innovation. It’s deeply fulfilling to expand that opportunity to a larger pool of future innovators in Africa. Also, Gloria and I owe so much to the support we received along our own paths. It’s our privilege to pay it forward.

Data storage interoperability is the right Move for scalable RWAfi. We're thrilled to partner with Walrus to integrate them as our chosen blob storage solution. Through Walrus, apps on Plume will have secure, programmable storage crucial for verified asset data. The combination of Plume's composable infrastructure and Walrus' scalable data availability will also enable RWA compliance and global distribution for partners across TradFi and DeFi. In the future, Plume will look to develop tokenization engine Arc and cross-chain yield streaming solution SkyLink on Sui's Move stack, allowing for interoperable streaming of RWA yields directly to user wallets on Sui.
