We celebrated the opening of one of the most deserving projects in Appalachia. The Edward G Hill Memorial Gymnasium at the Cawood Ledford Boys & Girls Club of Harlan County. The staff and community are truly putting their kids first. Special thanks to everyone who help make this facility a reality. We enjoyed our part in the project!

Summit had a wonderful time with City of Union, Kentucky at the Union Celebrates America event. It was nice to see the citizens excited about their new Union Town Square project! We are excited to be the Architects for this amazing community capital Improvement.

We got a chance to visit with our friends at Harlan County UK Extension Office today. We designed the renovation of their historical Victorian Facility. We couldn’t be more pleased with the finished product!

Had a great visit with the construction crew at the Harlan County High School Field House Addition project today. The project is scheduled to be completed in August. We are excited about the kids having this extra space!

On June 14th we celebrated another groundbreaking for our friends in Barbourville, KY. The new City Hall is being constructed in the same location as the previous facility. Join us in Congratulating the City of Barbourville with their capital improvement project!

Solid Rock Children's Ranch, Sunrise Children's Services is progressing quickly! This project is making an impact on foster families in the area. Our intern & UK Graduate Student, Ryan Sistrunk is getting hands on experience with helping the volunteers progress with this impactful project. Our effort to get our employees exposure to the built environment is a priceless opportunity, especially for a young emerging professional. Stay tuned for more updates as these two projects become HOMES for two deserving foster families

We've wrapped up this week with Advocating for students in the districts we serve. On Thursday, we were honored to present Emma Baily of Floyd Central High School - Kentucky with our Innovate-Advocate-Inspire Education Scholarship Award. In addition, Emma will receive a paid internship with Summit while attending Eastern Kentucky University. Congratulations Emma!
