We celebrated the opening of one of the most deserving projects in Appalachia. The Edward G Hill Memorial Gymnasium at the Cawood Ledford Boys & Girls Club of Harlan County. The staff and community are truly putting their kids first. Special thanks to everyone who help make this facility a reality. We enjoyed our part in the project!

On this day 23 years ago, tragedy struck. Today, we remember all the lives lost and honor the First responders who risked everything to help. “Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.” -Former President Barack Obama #neverforget

Solid Rock Children's Ranch, Sunrise Children's Services is progressing quickly! This project is making an impact on foster families in the area. Our intern & UK Graduate Student, Ryan Sistrunk is getting hands on experience with helping the volunteers progress with this impactful project. Our effort to get our employees exposure to the built environment is a priceless opportunity, especially for a young emerging professional. Stay tuned for more updates as these two projects become HOMES for two deserving foster families

We are proud to be an industry partner with Sunrise Children's Services.
Today was a day that was nearly 8 years in the making. Sunrise Children's Services (Kentucky) and Ms. Judy Singleton had a vision to create homes for siblings in the foster system to stay in the same home together. There are over 100 volunteers and industry partners working over the next 5.5 weeks to complete two homes for two deserving families of foster siblings. Summit is proud to call Solid Rock Children's Ranch, Sunrise Children's Services on of our valued projects. Stay tuned for updates!
