The Illinois Tollway’s I-490/IL 390 Interchange Project is a $534 million investment set to transform greater Chicago’s #transportation network. Our local team is providing construction management and inspection services for six new interchange ramps and bridges, including four flyover ramps connecting the IL 390 and I-490 Tollways and two bridges providing direct access to O’Hare International Airport’s western edge. For over 20 years, STV’s James Brady, MBA, P.E. has been inspiring the next generation of engineers through the DiscoverE Future City Competition. He helps guide an event that engages 700+ students each year, challenging them to design innovative, sustainable cities. This year’s "floating city" challenge tasked the students with designing urban solutions that not only tackled environmental resilience but also developed their engineering and project management skills. MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) is making major strides toward a zero-emission future, with site demolition underway for a new Multipurpose Operations and Maintenance Facility in Clayton County, Georgia. STV is proud to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering design services for this state-of-the-art facility, which will support operations for 31 regional bus routes and house up to 300 buses powered by diesel, CNG and battery-electric technology. LaGuardia Airport's Terminal B has earned a second prestigious five-star rating from Skytrax, joining Newark Liberty International Airport's Terminal A as one of only three North American airport facilities to achieve this honor.
