One farm at a time, Vermont's energy landscape is transforming! At Bouchard Family Dairy, up by the US/Canada border, energy from the sun has always been a critical part of their grass-fed operation. We're so proud to help them make the switch to solar, which is easier than ever now thanks to the USDA's REAP (Rural Energy for America Program) grant program. REAP grants can cover up to 50% of the cost of an eligible business's solar project, and when combined with the 30% federal investment tax credit and depreciation benefits, this grant can have a huge impact on our agricultural sustainability.
