Meet Cora Vanden Heuvel, our new Volunteer Coordinator! Cora is a newbie to Austin, having just graduated with a degree in social work and making the move down from Michigan this summer. Thanks to her time as a camper and counselor at an overnight camp up north, Cora loves camp and is passionate about sharing the experience with others. Lately, Cora has been checking out the food scene, taking walks by Lady Bird, and eagerly anticipating cooler weather. She looks forward to meeting you soon!

Meet Amy, our Director of Corporate Relations! Amy is from Reno, Nevada. After 7 years in social work, and helping individuals directly Amy has pivoted to development taking her knowledge of building relationships and bringing her passion into helping non profits in the community. Amy is extremely excited to be a part of Austin Sunshine Camps and helping to provide more kids with the magic of overnight camp! In her free time you can find Amy playing volleyball, pickleball, or being obsessed with her dog, Millie.
