BLANDAT Studio is a maximalist apparel brand founded by artist & designer Debby van der Veer-Boer. Blending patterns and intertwining multiple concepts, her patterns are vibrant pieces of art that live on the canvases of garments. Each of Debby’s prints has a poetic backstory and inspiration drawn from botanical symbolism, cycles of renewal, nature’s rhythms, and a rich history of extravagant style icons. Blooming on flowing fabric, her stories come to life and take on new meanings with each person who wears them, adding to a collective sense of natural abundance. Read our interview with Debby to learn more about her backstory, the botanical landscapes that have inspired her creations, and how she learned to trust in her own creative vision in building BLANDAT - https://lnkd.in/gbZbrMR8

Mailing postcards to help get out the vote! Since this critically important election will come down to a few key states, these postcards are going to Dems in AZ & NV who may not have been recent voters, but who would likely vote blue if they do get out to the polls. Whatever you have to offer — time, support, energy, creativity, etc. — please consider helping to mobilize folks however you’re able. (And if you’d like a copy of our dahlia postcard file to print at home or at your local print shop, just message us!) Hoping we can all usher in a new chapter for our democracy this November - one that’s focused on progress, decency, integrity, opportunity, & respect 💙

“Anyone can bloom, anyone can grow right where they are.” For the latest interview in our Creative Conversations series, we connected with artist & advocate Caroline Hardaway to learn more about her work and what inspires her. A self-taught artist, Carrie grew up in Florida and relocated to Louisville, Kentucky, where she's now engaged in the local arts scene and partners to help support local businesses.
