#networkingbreaks, including #coffeebreaks, are incredibly valuable in professional settings for several reasons: #buildingrelationships : Networking breaks provide an opportunity to connect with colleagues, industry peers, and potential collaborators in a more relaxed environment. #informationexchange: Informal conversations often lead to the exchange of valuable information and insights that can help to stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities. Expanding #professionalnetwork: Networking breaks allow individuals to expand their professional network by meeting new people and making connections outside of their immediate circle. Enhancing #visibility and #reputation : By being present and engaged in professional gatherings, individuals can establish themselves as knowledgeable, approachable, and trustworthy professionals, which can enhance their reputation and credibility. Staying #current and #relevant : By engaging in conversations with others, individuals can gain insights into the latest developments in their field and identify areas for growth. At Supply Chain Stage we believe the every #networking break plays a crucial role in a founder's journey building his/her relationship with #VCs.

Meeting with #vcs when you're not actively #raisingcapital can be beneficial for several reasons: Relationship Building: Building relationships takes time. Meeting VCs when you're not in a hurry to secure funding allows for a more relaxed atmosphere where you can focus on getting to know each other, understanding their investment thesis, and establishing rapport. Learning Opportunity: Even if you're not seeking funding immediately, meeting with VCs can provide valuable insights into market trends, investor expectations, and potential areas of improvement for your business. Networking: VCs often have extensive networks that can be valuable beyond just fundraising. They may introduce you to potential customers, partners, or even future employees. Early Feedback: Engaging with VCs before you're actively seeking capital allows you to gauge their interest in your business and get early feedback on your pitch and business model. Building Credibility: By proactively engaging with VCs when you're not raising capital, you demonstrate that you're strategic and forward-thinking. Overall, meeting with VCs when you're not actively #fundraising can help you lay the groundwork for future #success. It's about building #relationships, gathering insights, and positioning your company for growth when the time is right. We cannot wait to see you at one of the future editions of Supply Chain Stage. At last week’s Supply Chain Stage Summit attendees listened to Brian Glick, CEO and founder of Chain.io and Chris Stallman, CFA Managing Partner at Fontinalis Partners sharing insights on how to raise a successful #Series A. That fireside chat was followed by a panel on "The Current #Seed environment in Supply Chain Tech" moderated by Marlon Ramirez Managing Partner at Blue Impact Supply Chain Ventures. Michael Nogen, Co-founder, and GP at Overton Venture Capital, Esteban Reyes, founder, and GP at Zenda Capital and Derrek Li, investor at Dynamo Ventures joined Marlon on that panel and provided valuable pointers and "hacks" for first time founders. The most important takeaway is that it's all about the story telling for the #Seed round, and all about the numbers for #Series A. Thanks to all of our participants for openly sharing their views and giving helpful advice to our startup community!
