About us
Sustainable CUNY established a collaborative platform in 2006 aimed at removing the barriers to installing solar in New York and established a dedicated ombudsmen program. After Hurricane Sandy, Sustainable CUNY expanded its efforts to include battery storage and formalized the Smart DG Hub with initial support from the U.S. Department of Energy, NYS, and NYC.
