Wendy Ho, MPA's piece, "Embracing My Otherness," is a powerful testament to the strength found in embracing one's unique identity. Her journey from feeling like an outsider to becoming a trailblazing leader highlights her resilience and dedication to uplifting marginalized voices. Wendy’s insights and experiences are not only inspiring but also a vital reminder of the importance of diversity and inclusion in leadership. Her contributions to APALI as a board member (and event emcee!) continue to be invaluable, and we are proud to have her as a guiding force in our community. https://lnkd.in/gG_pUk5k #AAPILeadership #APALI Michael Chang Dennis Chiu Mayra Cruz Paul Fong Johnson Fong Diane N. New 2024 impact report from APALI! AANHPIs are consistently underrepresented in leadership positions at all levels, from regional to national, in both public and private sectors. To address this, APALI develops civic-minded leaders to close the leadership gap and build a strong community of public leaders. Since 1997, we've trained over 2,000 leaders across nonprofit, education, government, and business sectors. Check out the 17 alumni leaders making a difference!
