Congratulations to OGGI Foods, which was recognized with prestigious 2024 Food and Beverage (FABI) Awards for their Gluten Free Neapolitan Pizza Crust and Gluten Free Pinsa Flatbread Crust. The National Restaurant Association Show's FABI Awards celebrate stand-out flavors in taste and creativity. Both products are available exclusively for foodservice customers through Sysco's 2024 Spring Cutting Edge Solutions line. These versatile crusts, featuring unique rising air pockets, save operators time, labor, and cost. In the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, Sysco has stepped up to support our community in Houston. Today, we delivered food and water to the West Gray and Southwest Multi-Service Centers, which are serving as cooling centers for those affected by the storm. Our donation included over 23,000 bottles of water, 8,000 bags of chips, 10,000 pieces of fruit, and 6,000 servings of juice to help those in need. We are honored to work alongside city leaders, including Mayor John Whitmire, Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher, and Council Member Abbie Kamin, to provide relief during this challenging time. Sysco Houston also made donations to several disaster relief organizations, helping to feed those working to restore power to our hometown. They also donated four pallets of disposable products to Mercy Chefs and are continuing to donate excess perishable foods and supplies to the Houston Food Bank. Thank you to our team and partners for making this possible. At Sysco, our purpose is connecting the world to share food and care for one another. Together, we are #HoustonStrong. 💪💙

🌟 Welcome to our Sysco Summer Interns! 🌟 This year, Sysco is proud to host over 60 interns representing over 25 colleges and universities. Their diverse skills bolster departments like Supply Chain, Finance, Food Safety & Quality Assurance, HR, Marketing, Merchandising, Sustainability, Technology, and more! Interns at our headquarters in Houston and operating sites nationwide are currently: - Engaging with project teams in a dynamic 10-week program. - Applying their knowledge in real-world scenarios and making tangible impacts. - Building a network with fellow interns, leaders, and community members through a series of social events. - Gaining mentorship from seasoned professionals across various departments and shaping their understanding of operations and more across Sysco. Our 2024 cohort is experiencing firsthand how Sysco stands at the forefront of food and service excellence. #LifeAtSysco

We were proud to welcome hospitality’s executive chefs, procurement directors and key Food & Beverage stakeholders from across the Gulf Coast region for an immersive experience demonstrating how Sysco’s purchasing programs, leading-edge platforms and exceptional products can help grow their business. Guests were invited to explore new F&B trends, learn about new savings opportunities, network with industry peers, tour Sysco facilities and sample fresh, inventive flavors from the world’s global leader in food distribution.
