Congratulations. Well deserved!
Two community health centers have won the second phase of a multi-year collaboration between ACH and UnitedHealthcare Community & State. Lone Star Circle of Care and Cherokee Health Systems will receive $100,000 each to address complex problems affecting the overall wellness of their communities. Building upon the successes of its first year of implementation, the second phase of the Entrepreneur Challenge aims to help health centers utilize emerging technologies to improve patient health outcomes, increase efficiencies, and achieve long-term savings. Last week, Cohort 6 of TACHC’s Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) Program gathered at @HealingHandsDal in Dallas for an in-person learning session focused on brain development and non-medical drivers of health (NMDoH). The session explored their impact on health inequities, equipping participants with valuable insights to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Special thanks to Dr. Morris-Harris for sharing expertise on brain development, NMDoH, and health inequities, and to HHM for hosting!#equityaccessquality #traumainformedcare #training
