There's a fascinating proposal in Dave Hoch's article on our blog: give remote employees unlimited PTO and flexibility. How will that sit with HR departments and managers looking for moment-by-moment accountability? Maybe that's the point. If a full 70% of "preventable leavers" as Gallup put it in their survey are pointing to bad management as a key reason they packed up and left, it's time to look at the policies in place and see where they can evolve.

KPMG's 2024 report on CEO outlooks found that 83% of CEOs anticipate a full return to the office by 2027. I’m just not sure how smoothly that will play out. Why? Consider the divide between #CEO expectations and employee preferences around #RTO. It's not getting any smaller. 🔗 bit.ly/4dU1i8B So here's the question for HR leaders: can you overlook employee sentiment for the sake of a C-Suite decision, or do you try to sway (if you can) the CEO to reconsider? What's underscoring this: the increasingly strategic role of HR execs. #HRleaders #employeeneeds #workforce
