September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and nationwide, the construction industry is recognizing Suicide Prevention Week (9th-13th). The construction industry has one of the highest suicide rates among professions - with the rate among male construction workers 75% higher than men in the general population (CDC article linked in comments). Read that again! That buck stops here. TCS Mechanical is committed to making a wave in the construction industry, focusing heavily on providing resources to our staff and ensuring the connection is initiated. In addition to resources, we now have a chaplain on staff, who can be contacted 24/7.
