The future of transportation: welcome or unwelcome? We decide. In Fast Company, Teague futurist Devin Liddell explores modus non grata —a rising tension where transportation modes like e-scooters and driverless cars become symbols of deeper urban conflicts. The takeaway? Designers and operators need to rethink how transportation can contribute real value to cities, not just move through them. Cleaner, smarter, more integrated solutions will be key to aligning with city values and building trust. Incredible shoutout from Teague designer Sushant Vohra, sharing his experience leading the design of Immersed's new VR headset, Visor. Coming soon: We’ll share the story behind the design, showcasing the process and how a software company made the jump to real-world hardware. Stay tuned!
New work! 🔥 Excited to see the launch of Visor, a super lightweight VR headset by Immersed. I led this program at Teague that spanned over 1.5 years and the amount of growth it has led to for me is absolutely crazy. I had the chance to collaborate with an absolute rockstar team of designers and engineers and even old friends on this one. Big shoutout to my lean yet powerful team Ashley D., Nick Ross, Colton Sanford, Adam Carvalho and Warren Schramm. One of the key reasons we’ve made it this far, and so quickly (A new VR headset development is no small feat), is our relentless grit - something that makes me confident in saying this was only possible at Teague. Now I'll be sharing more over the next few weeks including an interview with Immersed founder, Renji Bijoy on what it takes to build hardware (for a software startup), a case study on Teague website that goes behind the scenes on the process of bringing Visor to life and my honest experience of seeing the product launch at a keynote event in Austin.

We know that the future of human space exploration will require self-assembling, adaptive, and reconfigurable structures. Aurelia Institute is pioneering this frontier, and Teague is proud to support their vision! The Institute’s first full-scale habitat, The TESSERAE Pavilion, offers a glimpse into the future of space living—right here in Seattle. Opening later this week at the The Museum of Flight, this immersive experience allows visitors to step inside a reimagined space station and explore what life beyond Earth could look like. Teague is thrilled to help make this visionary experience possible. Get tickets: https://lnkd.in/gAGE3fdH #spaceexploration #humancenteredeesign #SeattleEvents

Give these great guys a wave if you see them at #AFA this week!
Director - Defense Programs at TEAGUE // Passionate about Innovation and Human Centered Design // Former Boeing Defense Sr Executive Director
Great Day 1 at AFA for Mike Mahoney and I. Lots of great business discussions on the need for legacy and emerging tech to integrate human centered design into the development and execution cycles of multi layered domain systems. Considering how the human in, on, or out of the loop will engage the overall system early drives a foundation of flexibility and agility as tech matures. Designing in this manner ensures we will be ready to adapt to future needs! Super excited for Day 2! #Teague.
