We’re excited to announce that Wenyu Zhou is joining our team as Director of Computational Biology! Wenyu’s pioneering research in Michael Snyder’s lab at Stanford has helped to change our understanding of aging at the molecular level, and her work strongly aligns with our novel approach toward understanding healthy and unhealthy aging. Wenyu was most recently Associate Director at Adaptive Biotechnologies, where she led research on target discovery in autoimmune diseases. Welcome, Wenyu! #pharma #biotech #scientificresearch #ageing #longevity #neurosciences

Thrilled to share our co-founders' Tony Wyss-Coray, Jarod Rutledge, Ph.D., and Hamilton Oh groundbreaking publication in Nature! 📢 We now have evidence that accelerated organ aging can significantly elevate the risk of age-related diseases and mortality (up to 6x higher chance for some people!). In a groundbreaking study, the team demonstrates the power and potential of advanced proteomics by revealing that our blood contains information that allows us to understand how our individual organs are aging. Through the measurement of over 5,000 circulating blood proteins from around 6,000 individuals, the study explores organ-specific aging “clocks” to understand their interpretability and predictive power. It is well understood that we all age differently. This work proposes a new approach to monitoring aging at an organ level, offering us novel personalized insights for guiding longevity care and interventions. We're inspired by their work and proud to continue to build on these pioneering insights at Teal. We believe these findings have the potential to transform healthcare and impact millions of lives! Congratulations to the team for their incredible scientific achievement! #LongevityResearch #HealthyLiving #AgingScience #Proteomics #BiologicalAging #LifespanExtension #AgingBiomarkers #BiologicalCocks #NaturePublication #ScientificAchievement #BiomarkerDiscovery #ResearchMilestone #Stanford Markus Okumus, Alex Boches, Laurent Fischer, Benoit Lehallier, Jay Wohlgemuth MD, Ray Tabibiazar, Mike Aicher, Basilio Cieza Huaman, Paritosh Kulkarni, Bharat Tewarie
