  • Aakash Gupta's 3 golden rules for using AI as a product manager: Prompting skill is important: The right prompt = the right results. Leave the middle 60% to AI: AI does the heavy lifting, but you bring the human touch and insights. Iterate until it’s perfect: AI might not get it right on the first try, but with the right feedback, you can get there. Some of the top use cases Aakash highlights for AI-powered PMs: - PRD creation. - Competitor research. - Meeting preparation. PMs need to be AI-powered, not AI-dependent. There’s a huge difference. Join our LIVE interview with Aakash tomorrow to learn how to work smarter with AI (link in the comments). #productmanagement #productmanager #saas #AI

  • Your product isn’t a buffet—stop serving users EVERYTHING at once!  As our product manager Abrar Abutouq says: "Building the feature is only half the battle. Getting users to engage with it requires strategy, measurement, and a clear benchmark to determine what’s working and what’s not." More features ≠ more value. If users don’t know how (or why) to use them, they might as well not exist! 😬 Instead of feature-stuffing, focus on seamless adoption and real engagement. • 🚨 The future of enterprise growth is here – powered by Generative Process Automation. Are you prepared for it? In her latest article in PITT, Shyvee Shi takes us through how Bella Liu, Co-Founder and CEO of Orby AI, is reshaping enterprise operations with new ways to automate processes and improve efficiency. Here are some key takeaways: 1️⃣ Generative Process Automation (GPA) is making it possible for AI to handle decision-making and reasoning tasks, reducing costs and improving workflows. 2️⃣ Orby’s Large Action Model (LAM) learns from user actions, streamlining automation setup and eliminating the need for months of programming work. 3️⃣ Bella’s five-dimensional framework for measuring ROI highlights how AI investments impact not just savings, but also operational efficiency, governance, customer experience, employee satisfaction, and long-term financial results. • AI can do everything - or so they say. But when it comes to user research, should it be left at the mercy of AI? #AI is fast, efficient, and great for terabytes of data, cross-referencing usage metrics, grouping feedback thematically, providing initial analysis, and automating tasks. For that reason, we are not only seeing AI being introduced to most research tools, but we can be sure that AI will handle more and more of the work, better. But can it: 🤝 Build trust in a user interview? 💡 Spot unspoken cues during a usability test? 👩💻 Replace a product team’s intuition? 🚨 Dr Bart Jaworski doesn’t think so. His latest piece for the PITT breaks down how AI helps rather than replaces user researchers (check the comments for the full read + join our LIVE interview tomorrow). #userresearch #saas

  • Should you use a 3rd-party product growth platform? Short answer: It depends. If you're just slapping on a 15-step product tour and calling it "onboarding"… you might as well hand your users a 500-page manual and wish them luck. 📖💀 But if you're using it to actually guide users, personalize their journey, and drive engagement—then yes, a product growth platform can make a HUUUUGE difference. For example, Impala increased user activation by 100% using Userpilot. 🚀 Check out the full story in the comments. #saas #b2b #useractivation #activation #onboarding

  • 🚨 Just because a user completes an action doesn’t mean they’re activated. Loom learned this the hard way. Their activation metric was “record & share a video.” Sounds solid, right? Wrong. Users were doing it, but their videos weren’t getting watched. No engagement = no activation. They entered AI-generated titles, summaries & chapters. These small tweaks gave viewers instant context, making them more likely to hit play. Aaaaand boom - higher activation rates. Your activation metric should drive engagement, not just completion. Otherwise, it’s a vanity metric. Curious how this played out for Loom? Read Kate Syuma’s case study on how AI took Loom’s activation rates to new heights on PITT (link in the comments) + join our LIVE interview to ask your burning questions. #useractivation #onboarding #b2b #activation
