26-year-old Aaliyah Siddiqi went from long days in an Amazon warehouse to a Times Square billboard as the face of a national YUPRO campaign highlighting Americans without traditional college degrees. After leaving college, Siddiqi worked as a warehouse picker in Newark, DE, then soon realized she wanted more. Inspired by her sister, she applied to Year Up Wilmington, launching a journey through internships, apprenticeships and finally into tech as a marketing operations specialist. Her advice? “Don’t be afraid to experiment. You never know what you’ll find. Just keep going — opportunities can come when you least expect them.” See more about her journey: https://lnkd.in/eQbZ5a2z

Tubi’s free 4K stream of Super Bowl LIX might seem like a threat to Comcast’s viewership, but the cable giant isn’t sweating it. “We’re here to enable it all,” said Dan Bonelli, Comcast’s Senior Regional VP, noting that the company profits whether people stream through cable, apps, or broadband. While cord-cutting is on the rise — with Comcast losing nearly 12% of its video subscribers last year — its real strength lies in broadband. With 29.4 million US households using Xfinity internet, Comcast still powers much of the streaming ecosystem, including through devices like its Xumo stream box. Plus, the Super Bowl’s biggest winner isn’t Comcast or Tubi — it’s the NFL, which rakes in over $125 billion in broadcasting deals through 2033. See more: https://lnkd.in/gsV-nR2n
