Leaving Loud 📢 Love this example from the book To The Top by Jenna Fisher. Sarah Mensah sets the example for being "loud" when stepping out of work for family commitments. This creates an environment that promotes work life balance and by seeing a leader do this without hesitation helps others in the organization feel safe to do the same. So, next time you have to step out for your daughter's softball game, or to run a parent to a doctor's appointment, choose to leave loud 📢. #TechnoGals #LeaveLoud #HappyFriday #Leadership

Most people don’t deserve a mentor… because they’re not ready to be mentored. Harsh? Maybe. But finding the right mentor requires more than just wanting one—it demands readiness, openness to feedback, and willingness to grow. Here’s how you can actually land a mentor who can transform your career: 1️⃣ Start with your network Reach out to those who already inspire you—peers, managers, or even customers. 2️⃣ Look beyond your field Diverse perspectives lead to breakthrough thinking. Don’t limit yourself to someone with your exact role/field. 3️⃣ Offer value first Mentorship isn’t one-sided. Bring something to the table—insight, energy, or connections. 4️⃣ Be clear and direct Know what you need from a mentor and don’t be afraid to ask. A simple conversation can open doors. #TechnoGals #Leadership #CareerGrowth #Mentorship #ProfessionalDevelopment

TechnoGals have long identified as introverts so image number 4 really caught my attention. While I find deep, critical thinking to be a strength of mine, I’ve often been given the advice to speak up during meetings more because my insights are valuable to others. I love the flip side of this image reminding extroverts to pause before talking during meetings. There’s no right or wrong to either personality trait, but it is extremely important to make sure you recognize which one is you and then disrupt those comfort patterns to continue growing. Let’s go crush today being mindful of our strengths! 💙

10 powerful visuals to change your career forever. Regardless of your career stage, this is for you: (credit to Roberto Ferraro for these powerful illustrations) 10 simple yet impactful lessons: 1. You'll Miss 100% of the Shots You Don’t Take ↳ Failure is inevitable. Embrace it to become all you're capable of being. ↳ Challenges are opportunities. Accept them and learn from them. 2. Real Leaders Create More Leaders ↳ True leaders create an environment that allows your talents to blossom. ↳ They don’t simply tell you what to do; they enable you to think for yourself. 3. What Makes One Successful? ↳ The right people - they will challenge and uplift you. ↳ The right company - it will inspire you to new heights. 4. Celebrate Your Uniqueness ↳ Introverts excel at critical thinking and forming deep connections. ↳ Extroverts excel in group sessions and are pros at networking. 5. Failure Is the Greatest Teacher ↳ If you are human, you will make mistakes. ↳ The key is to truly learn from them and push on. 6. Success Starts with The Right Mindset ↳ How you think impacts how you speak, the actions you take, and who you ultimately become. ↳ Positive thoughts build confidence; negative thoughts erode it. 7. Lose Your Health, Lose Everything ↳ You don't achieve anything without a healthy body and mind. ↳ Take care of yourself if you wish to make a positive impact on the world. 8. The Power of Movement ↳ Science shows that walking boosts creativity by 60% on average. ↳ If you're out of ideas, don't stare at a blank screen. Shut down and go for a stroll. 9. The Myth of Micromanagement ↳ Micromanagers think they're driving progress when they're suffocating it. ↳ Having someone constantly watching over kills motivation and productivity. 10. The Best Time to Do It Is Now ↳ The first step is often the most difficult. ↳ Break your bigger projects into smaller tasks to reduce the overwhelm. Which of these visuals had the most impact on you? Let me know in the comments. ♻ Repost to inspire your network. And follow Eric Partaker for more.

Want to be a better leader? Simply spend more time being introspective than looking outwardly. I had a conversation with a team member recently. We were talking about career development and strategies. It wasn't a "bad" conversation, but after a day, I was disappointed with myself and how I empowered and showed up during that conversation. I asked for a redo. I explained I felt I could've done better and left the conversation more inspiring. It would be easy to say it's a bi-directional process, and I did "okay". But the leaders that leave you with an impact, they think about how they can improve, correct, and do better the next time. Simply spend more time asking yourself how you can show up better than looking at all the variables you can't control. Be willing to tell yourself you have room for growth. #leadership #growthmindset

🚫 If you are using weekly 1:1s to have personal development conversations with your employees, you are doing it wrong 🚫. Your weekly 1:1s naturally focus on tactical updates, problem-solving, and ongoing projects. Trying to carve out time in the 1:1 for personal development discussion typically fails because it is hard to switch from the tactical to the deep conversation needed for development. By creating intentional space for personal growth talks, you: ✅ Give the employee room to reflect without the pressure of urgent tasks. ✅ Show them you're invested in their long-term success, not just short-term deliverables. ✅ Build trust and foster real growth with a clear focus on them. So, go ahead and hit the pause button on work stuff and schedule a dedicated conversation for their future. You'll see a huge difference! #TechnoGals #Leadership #PersonalDevelopment #1on1s
