Fix Adobe Photoshop Layer Partially Locked https://lnkd.in/g7uFsrwb I usually work on higher bit image types. Actually, all the time, I haven’t messed with GIF’s in a long time. GIF’s are an indexed color pallet of 256 colors or less, so they are flat also, no layers. Apparently, Photoshop partially locks them. I don’t know what that means really because it behaves almost like fully locked. If other sites are telling you to just click on the lock in the layer to unlock it, you’ll never make it Sydney. Adjust Gray-scale and Color on Multiple Displays https://lnkd.in/gSZ89ehm I like to use a lot of displays. Four is a good number. Three across the desktop and one graphics pad in my keyboard tray. My monitors are getting old though, so I have to tune them once in a while, and I was looking for a quick and sloppy way to do that. That’s why I created this color bar, so I could spread it across all of my displays, and quickly adjust the colors to be a bit more equal without the hassle of fine-tuning. Outlook Error Reading the Rules From the Server https://lnkd.in/gxdT3Uqm The Problem The new issue of the day, “There was an error reading the rules from the server. The format of the server rules was not recognized.” It’s always something. Found a solution fairly quickly this time. Many of the solutions in forums was to delete the rules and recreate them. Not happening for me, too many rules to even think about it. One solution was to delete just one rule and then recreate it to force a server side write to the rules, assuming that this would correct the issue. Although this worked for some, it didn’t for me. Making Jet Fuel from Plastic Trash https://lnkd.in/gXKv6Kwu The technology for turning plastic trash into fuels isn’t new. The latest fuel though comes from Washington State University where they’ve been able to reach an 85% conversion rate to jet fuel and the remaining 15% as diesel fuel mix. According to Hanwu Lei, an associate professor in WSU’s Department of Biological System Engineering, it’s all diesel fuel unless you separate the two components. Hydrogen in the plastic is the main component for the fuel.
