As we gather around the Thanksgiving table this year, we want to take a moment to express our deepest appreciation for our customers over the past 40 years. Tengco's story began in 1974 when our founder, Thomas English, Sr., faced an unusual dilemma—a container filled to the brim with unwanted square nuts. Seizing the moment and taking a leap of faith, Mr. English ventured into the unknown, purchasing the surplus without a clear path ahead. He eventually found a buyer outside of St. Louis who told him he needed more square nuts along with a few other items. Without being sure exactly how he was going to get them, Mr. English immediately agreed to procure them ... And have the best price while doing it. That initial container of square nuts marked the inception of Tengco, and since that day we have held one unwavering objective: to deliver quality products at competitive prices. And to that end, we think we have succeeded. Tengco has created long lasting customer relations spanning over four decades. Our blanket purchase orders are often extended year over year as we build strong working relationships with our customers. We are not just suppliers; we are strategic partners, dedicated to offering quality products at competitive prices, all while simplifying the procurement process for our valued customers. In fact, the customer who bought the first container of square nuts is still our largest customer. As we express our gratitude, we also look forward to the opportunities the future holds.
