It all started with a strange bend in the pipe. In the world of pipeline operations, being reactive is not an option. Data Dazzle: This is a 3D model of priority zones for land stabilization within the #BurnScar of the recent California Camp Fire #wildfire. The model prioritized reclamation land areas in need of immediate stabilization based on imminent threats to life and critical downstream resources. The model was generated using high-resolution #LiDAR data in combination with Teren's proprietary climate, #soil, #vegetation and #hydrology models that were rapidly processed and analyzed in the Terescale high-performance computing engine. The results guided and optimized recovery efforts following the Camp Fire.
