The yen has arrived! Exciting times in Terumo’s Somerset, New Jersey office as some of our associates working onsite got to hold and check out the new 1,000 Japanese yen banknote. Released earlier this year, the banknote features Dr. Shibasaburo Kitasato, the father of modern Japanese medicine. Terumo’s unique connection to the banknote? Dr. Kitasato is also one of our founders.
