In 1994, Steve Gavers, at 32, faced testicular cancer. Despite the shock, his determination saw him through surgery and chemotherapy. Steve didn’t stop at survival; he founded the Gavers Community Cancer Foundation and launched Barndance, a lively fundraiser. What started as a local event now raises millions, with every penny supporting cancer research and patient care. This year, they hit a milestone: $10 million raised!
