TCISD transportation office and lead staff members spent the past four days in Corpus Christi attending the 51st annual Texas Association for Pupil Transportation Conference! 🚌🧡💙  Not only did everyone learn about industry updates and best practices to integrate within the transportation department, team building also took place outdoors as the weather was beautiful! ☀️😎🛴 🎳

Exciting news from Texas City ISD! The Board of Trustees has unanimously approved salary increases for District employees, demonstrating their commitment to supporting our dedicated staff members. After months of collaboration with TCISD administration, the board has successfully balanced fiscal responsibility with the need to enhance compensation across the district. Here's what you need to know: All classroom teachers/librarians, regardless of experience level, will receive a $1,980 increase. The starting salary for new certified teachers has been raised to $62,500. Additionally, a 3% pay raise has been sanctioned for the midpoint of each auxiliary, clerical-paraprofessional and administrator-professional pay grade, supporting all facets of the TCISD team. The total investment from last night's board action amounts to approximately $2.6 million, demonstrating a strong commitment to our staff.
